Using the symbolism of the portal and black hole, as they are conceptualised in both science and science fiction, the film presents a montage of narratives and documentation of performances and installations, which together with sonic and visual disruptions, create a liminal experience for the spectator.<\/span><br>\n<span lang=\"EN-US\">The proposition is that one may find, herein, the time one needs.<br>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The science adviser for this project was Pietro Reviglio.&nbsp; Pietro&#8217;s expertise on black holes was invaluable.<br>\n<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><i><span lang=\"EN-US\">For the third edition the <strong>jury<\/strong>, composed of<strong> Alessandro Medolago<\/strong> &#8211; President of Fondazione MERU; <strong>Alessandro Bettonagli<\/strong> &#8211; Associazione BergamoScienza and <strong>Giacinto Di Pietrantonio<\/strong> &#8211; Director of GAMeC, examined and appreciated all the projects presented by the candidates because of the quality of their artistic research, but<strong> chose the project by Sarah Sparkes <\/strong>\u2013 artist proposed by<strong> Rob La Frenais<\/strong>, independent curator \u2013<strong> because of its visionary potential in investigating the subject of time and temporal \u201copenings\u201d, a topic that is as complex as it is topical in terms of both scientific and artistic research.<\/strong> The aim of this recognition is also to support the artist in experimenting with a language she is not accustomed to using but that can incorporate various aspects of her artistic practice.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Thanks to:<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"color: #444444;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Sooz Belnavis , Caf\u00e9 Gallery Projects London, Chelsea School of Art and Design, Rebecca Feiner, Phillip Raymond Goodman, Caroline Gregory, Rob La Frenais, Patrick Morrissey, Dr Pietro M. The foundation, based in Bergamo, promotes research projects with a strong social focus and closely connected with areas such as the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that strike us and cause physical, mental and emotional stress.<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Invernomuto<\/strong> and<strong> Renaud Jerez<\/strong> were the winners of the first and the second edition of MERU ART*SCIENCE
